Welcome to the 2026 Frankston Swim Classic!
Join us on Saturday, February 7, 2026, as the Frankston Swim Classic returns to the beautiful shores of Frankston Beach - Once again kicking off the iconic Frankston Waterfront Festival. Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or trying your first open water event, this is your chance to be part of a vibrant community celebration set against the backdrop of Frankston beach’s calm, clear waters.
Choose from three classic swim distances: the 400m dash, the popular 1.2km swim, or the endurance-testing 2.5km course - all starting and finishing on the sand in front of the Frankston Yacht Club. Plus, we’re excited to welcome back the crowd-favourite 700m Kids’ Beach Run, giving young participants their own moment to shine.
Expect a day full of energy, encouragement, and unforgettable moments.

The Frankston Swim Classic is an event brought to you by the Mornington Peninsula Triathlon Club. As a family-friendly and not-for-profit club with our home base at the picturesque Frankston Yacht Club, we're thrilled to invite you to join us for a memorable day of swimming excitement.
Not only will you be a part of a great summer event, you'll also be contributing much needed funds that ensure our community club continues to thrive, grow, and support members of all abilities.
Our goal is to create a haven for fitness enthusiasts, aspiring athletes, and community camaraderie, regardless of skill level.
